Vedic Connection - The Gateway to Holistic Development
The journey of a child’s development can be likened to that of a delicate seed, which, with appropriate nourishment, protection and connection to its roots, eventually blossoms into a tree that provides shade and shelter to the world around it. True holistic education is that, which connects each child to her roots while integrating them with the current times in an age-appropriate manner.
The Vedic wisdom, passed down through the ages, provides an impeccable education system perfectly suited for all developmental stages in life. At Vedic Roots, we bring forth holistic development for contemporary lives through the gateway of the Vedas.
Panchakosha
Everyone at their core is a spiritual being. Ancient Yoga Texts (Upanishads) describe that this spiritual being experiences the world through five (Pancha) layers or coverings (Kosha). The age-appropriate development of these five layers, referred to as Panchakosha Vikas, leads to the complete personality development.
Ayurveda
Ayurvedic principles provide a holistic understanding of one's health. During early childhood, the physical body thrives on nourishment through food (Annamaya Kosha), and any inadequacies at this level percolate through the various aspects of development. Realizing the paramount importance of early childhood, the Ayurvedic Diet is a cornerstone of our holistic development program.
Montessori
Montessori is an individualized approach to education for children from toddler through high school that helps each child reach his/her full potential in all areas of life. It is a student-centered approach that encourages creativity and curiosity, and leads children to ask questions, explore, investigate and think as they acquire skills.

Education is more than acquiring titles and technical know-how; it's the journey of unleashing one's true potential, creating a love of learning, and instilling conscious responsibility.
Toddler
Our Toddler Program is expertly prepared to meet the young child's many needs. Our trained teachers focus on nurturing each child individually, on a physical, emotional and intellectual level.
Preschool
Our mixed aged CASA classroom provides the young preschooler unlimited opportunities to learn and develop their skills through the variety of Montessori material available at their disposal.
Kindergarten
Continuing her journey in the CASA room, the growing child blossoms into an independent learner under the watchful eyes of the qualified teacher. Uninterrupted work cycles facilitate the child's love for learning and his confidence in achieving perfection in what he does.
Elementary
Our Elementary students thrive on experiential learning and one-to-one interaction with the teachers. Carefully selected yoga asanas and other aspects of physical training like Kalaripayattu (Vedic martial arts), coupled with specific fine arts and hand skills, form a pivotal part of the development of our students during this stage of the Pranamaya Kosha (development of their vital energies).
