The CASA program serves children from 2.5 to 6 years of age, building a foundation of strong academic skills, complemented with holistic spiritual impressions, role models and values.

our Curriculum

Meeting the physical, emotional and intellectual needs

Our curriculum in the CASA room is especially designed to

Provide age-appropriate exposure to five areas of learning (Language, Math, Practical Life, Culture and Sensorial)

Engage students in meaningful ways to celebrate spiritual festivals that create lasting impressions and inculcate values

Facilitate memorization and recitation of Sanskrit shlokas for enhanced focus and brain development

Enhance focus and bodily strength through regular practice of age-appropriate yoga poses

Nourish the body and enhance the immunity through specially curated Ayurvedic Meals

Develop and strengthen fine and gross motor skills through various practical life activities

Instill confidence, kindness, grace and courtesy, and to facilitate social skills through modeling

Allow children to learn by doing, using all their senses to gain positive experiences of the world

The Prepared Environment

A key feature of the CASA program is the 'prepared environment'. The students have access to a lot more Montessori materials to learn from. The qualified Montessori teacher arranges the material around the classroom to facilitate gradual learning of skills as the child works through each of these materials. This allows children to accomplish their goals and work mostly independently, gaining confidence in a particular skills.

Our CASA classroom is a spacious, aesthetically pleasing space with mostly natural materials. This enhances the ability of the students to concentrate and focus on their lessons. Students naturally acquire a sense of order and inculcate self-discipline and respect for the environment. In a normalized classroom (where students are well-established in their routines) you will find a peaceful environment where the members exhibit kindness and respect towards each other, and an obvious joy in their work.

Yoga

Our students practice yoga asanas twice a week. This practice not only benefits their physical bodies, but also enhances focus and concentration skills. A regular yoga practice also assists the children to develop a healthy emotional and mental health.

Carnatic Music

Once a week, students learn Carnatic Music. From the basics of taal, raga and svara, students learn to appreciate the various elements of music. They also participate in listening exercises as well as basic voice culture exercises, laying an early foundation fo advanced music skills.

Sanskrit

Twice a week students learn Sanskrit language. They begin by oral Sanskrit (through rhymes, parts of the body, days of the week, and other commonly used terms) and gradually move on to learning the akshara.

Hear from our parents

My daughter loves going to school everyday and even misses it over the weekends. She has learned so much in this one year. Her growth is impressive. Kids get an Ayurvedic balanced diet which is cooked fresh everyday. They are connected to the Vedic learnings which enrich good values in the kids - a wholesome place for body and soul.

Thank you to the great team in VRMA for patiently working with my kids. Confidence instilled in kids and their performance does show how great the school is and the importance of Vedic principles in our kids. Right from the Montessori lessons to the delicious food, everything is perfectly organized in VRMA. I am grateful to have come across this school and to have found the right environment for my kids. Thanks once again dear teachers.

VRMA brings out the best in every child by tapping into their individual strengths, while creating an environment of kindness, responsibility, and leadership. The camps arranged online are so well-organized and made interesting for kids of all ages. Wish VRMA all the very best 🙏❤

My daughter started as a toddler in VRMA. Now she is in CASA pre-school and it was a journey in which she had a family away from home holistic learning, healthy safe food, amazing teachers. You can understand the feeling, when your child runs to the toddler room to find her old teacher. I was always worried about quality childhood education, now I don't have to, as long as she is in VRMA.

My son eagerly waits for his classes with Vedic Roots! They provide education with strong moral foundation focusing on character building which is utmost important in today's age and time. Their prices are reasonable and their teachers are highly professional. I strongly recommend Vedic Roots to parents who aim at overall well rounded development for their children.
